You get a safety briefing, overalls, a helmet with a visor and gloves, then you are let into a room stocked with things to break: plates, bottles, old printers and televisions, odd bits of furniture. Pick from the tools on the wall, put your own music on, and work through the lot in a timed session.
The car smash is the bigger version. A scrapped car is put out for the group with sledgehammers, and you take turns until there is not much car left.
Wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes. You have to be sober, and venues set a minimum age and may ask for identification.
